In 2019 Dree moved from Los Angeles to Portland after falling in love with it while adventuring on road trips to Canada with her father as a child and dreaming that she’d call it home one day. That is when her love of telling a story through design began. She can vividly recall being enamored by the juxtaposition of the cityscape’s modern buildings amongst the old and all its attractions, set against the soft, wild beauty of the pacific northwest great outdoors. And being equally enamored by the inhabitants within. She discovered the Portland aesthetic and culture matched her own. The move broadened her inspiration of what home means to Oregonians and what those visiting Oregon from out of town expect to feel and see.
Mastering Airbnb design came naturally as it feeds right into her desire for creating spaces that tell a story and call out to be enjoyed as a home away from home.
In turn she discovered a passion for staging after helping a few close friends stage their homes for sale, as well as her own. Dree enjoys the challenge of taking a space that is so completely owned by another and physically altering it just so, enabling prospective buyers to envision making it their own.
